Exactly is extinsion file is different, Mac & Windows solution, just instal Steam and login and download ur game I understand that. I am trying to move the large games where the big bits like pictures, audio will ahve the same file format. Then my plan was to just click verify this game and download the windows files that were missing.
Check the website to see how to uninstall it. If you can't find it...
Drag the application to the trash.
Go to ~/Library/Application Support and trash the folder the goes with the game.
Go to ~/Library/Cache/ and find the cache that is the same or similar to the game name and delete that. (You will probably have to secure empty the trash.)
Go to ~/Library/Preferences/ Find the file name and this time it will end in .plist. Delete the file. This is the file that holds all of the preferences for the game.

Unzipping a file on a mac computer is user-friendly and intuitive. To unzip files on a mac, simply follow the steps below:
- Double click the zipped file.
- The file will automatically be decompressed by Archive Utility into the same folder the compressed file is in.

By default, compressed files are opened with the Archive Utility. It appears in the Dock (in Leopard) while the files are being unsqueezed, unless you choose to open them with Stuffit Expander or some other program.
