Hello everyone and thank you for your investment in this forum.
Before exposing my problem to you, here is my streaming configuration:
- ROG I74007HQ 2.4 Ghz laptop; Nvidia GTX770M graphics card
- Analog console YAMAHA MG12XU
- AVERMEDIA LGX GC550 external video capture card for PS4 stream capture
- WEBCAM logitech C920
- STREAM DECK
On the one hand, I have two microphones connected to my analog console in XLR, I recover the sound via USB on my laptop with OBS Studio software. On the other hand, I have a PS4 connected to the AVERMEDIA LGX capture card, I recover the audio / video signal in USB on my PC via OBS also. The webcam and the stream deck are also connected via USB and retrieved from OBS.
My problem: Pops and intermittent clicks appear on the Yamaha output in OBS only when the AVERMEDIA capture card is connected. It looks like it is causing interference. I do not know what caused this interference. My Yamaha drivers and the AVERMEDIA capture card are up to date. I am referenced in 48Khz on OBS and Yamaha. I point out that in my previous configuration, I had a Zoom H6 instead of the Yamaha and the problem did not occur. When I unplug the AVERMEDIA LGX, the clicks and pops disappear. Looks like the two sounds (from LGX and Yamaha) are in conflict. I cannot take the sound from the LGX to get it into the Yamaha console and thus only have one audio source.
I tried to plug the Yamaha console into a separate outlet in case it was a power problem but it wasn't.
I tried to downgrade my Yamaha and LGX drivers but that didn't solve the problem.
The Yamaha works well on other software such as TeamSpeak or Discord in USB.
For one of my hypotheses not yet tested, I was thinking of buying a Scarlet 2i2 in order to connect the outputs of the Yamaha stereo LR in jack 6.35 to the Scarlet 2i2 to recover the sound of the Scarlet on OBS via USB.
My Log File and error are attached
Another hypothesis, I have a thunderbolt port. I was thinking of buying a USB dock for this port in order to connect the Yamaha or the LGX to isolate one of the two devices on another type of port. What do you think ?
Do you know what could create this problem? I'm running out of solutions ...
